Deerfield Bannockburn Fire Protection District Station #19 Interior Alterations at 1935 Half Day Road, Bannockburn, IL 60015 The Deerfield Bannockburn Fire Protection District and The Hezner Corporation, the Architect for the this project, are accepting general construction bids for interior alterations of station #19. Scope of work includes demolition, hazardous materials assessment, structural and miscellaneous steel, carpentry, millwork, applied fireproofing, firestopping, joint protection, hollow metal frames, wood doors, hardware, metal studs, gypsum board, ceramic tiling, acoustical ceilings, epoxy marble chip flooring, resilient wall base and accessories, painting, kitchen appliances, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, temporary utilities, temporary barricades and enclosures, temporary controls (environmental and security), waste disposal, and cleaning. The Deerfield Bannockburn Fire Protection District, in accordance with laws of the State of Illinois, hereby notifies all bidders that the work performed under this contract shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act 820 ILCS 130/01 et seq. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond upon award of the contract in the penal sum of the full amount of the Contract Price as described in the Bid Package. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of the bids without consent of Deerfield Bannockburn Fire Protection District.
