This solicitation is requesting proposals to furnish and install security video cameras and associated infrastructure across multiple buildings. Should a formal contract be awarded as a result of this solicitation process, the successful Respondent shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond. A Performance Bond and Labor & Material Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price will be required from a surety licensed to do business in the State of Maryland and satisfactory to TCPS. The Bond shall be submitted to TCPS at the time of Contract execution by the Bidder within the timeframes required herein. Premiums for the bonds described above shall be paid by the Contractor. Bonds shall contain a provision that it shall not be cancelled, non-renewed or materially altered without at least ninety (90) days written prior notice to TCPS. A bondability letter from the associated surety company is required at the time of proposal submission. The Board of Education of Talbot County reserves the right to reject submissions which have been improperly labeled. TCPS reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive or not waive informalities or irregularities in the submission procedures, and to accept or further negotiate cost, terms, or conditions of any proposal determined by TCPS to be in the best interest of TCPS. All agreements resulting from negotiations that differ from what is represented within the RFP or in the Respondent's submission shall be documented and included as part of the final contract. To be considered, each respondent must submit a response to this RFP including all of the required documentation. Fee Proposals provided in the submission shall be valid through the anticipated start of the project, which is June of 2024.
