Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of April 23,2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on May 7,2024. To perform fulldepth-repairs of asphaltic-concrete-pavement (ACP) roads on the roads specified. Work under this contract will require removal of existing material 8 inches deep, disposal excavated materials, preparation of compacted subgrade material, installation of 6 inches of HMAC type B, and installation of 2 inches HMAC type D. The contractor will be required to include all incidental costs associated with general conditions, bond costs, insurance costs, administrative costs, permit fees, mobilization, maintenance and protection of traffic, traffic signage, drums, barrels, cones, saw-cutting, protection of drainage structures from sediment migration, and installation of temporary erosion control items as necessary and directed by the Engineer; within the unit price submitted as part of the general bid within the accompanying Bid Form. Question Deadline 02/23/2024 at 5:00 PM CT The Contractor will also be required to coordinate their work in an organized, efficient fashion to conduct asphalt removal and restoration work to provide the required maximum fourteen (14) calendar day period for asphalt disturbance to final asphalt restoration. At each of the project sites, the Contractor will be responsible for soil erosion and sediment control measures, protection, and cleaning of catch basins and drainage structures, and for the integrity of the road base, until asphalt restoration is complete and accepted. The Full-Depth-Repairs shall be warranted for two (2) years after final acceptance of the work. The Contractor will perform all warranty work, including but not limited to replacement, traffic control and incidentals, at NO cost to the County as long as written notification is provided within the warranty period, even if the repair work extends beyond the warranty period. The Contractor will submit a proposed repair procedure to the Town for approval, before performing any repairs. Perform all required repairs, including replacement, to meet the requirements of this specification. Temporary repairs will be replaced with permanent repairs as weather allows Estimated Amount: $5,000,000.00 Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, payable to "Travis County," in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid, As required by Texas Government Code Chapter Sections 2253, a Payment Bond is required in the amount of the contract if the contract exceeds $25,000, and a Performance Bond is required in the amount of the contract if the contract exceeds $100,000, for contracts for construction, alteration or repair of any public building or the prosecution or completion of any public work Contract duration: One Time Purchase Bidders Must Download and Complete the Associated Bid Proposal Worksheet Then Upload and Submit It With Their Bid.
