The work of this section shall consist of furnishing approximately 21,250 tons of maintenance aggregate S.O.R. on various roads in DeKalb County. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bank cashier's check or a properly certified check as per LRS#7. The proposal guaranty shall be held as contract guaranty until the project is complete. 5% Retainage will be withheld from progress payments until the project is completed as specified. Traffic Control will be performed by the Road District. This work shall be completed by August 30, 2024. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Material/Deliver and Install Proposals.
