Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Visalia, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of April 16, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. Awarded contractor will anticipate on May 7, 2024. General work description: The work to be done consists, in general, of sidewalk improvements, curb & gutter, ADA ramps, AC paveouts, striping, pavement markings, and signage improvements. Other items or details not mentioned herein that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications or these Special Provisions must be performed, constructed, furnished or installed. Bidders may visit the project site. Technical questions should be directed in writing to Hernan Beltran Herrera, P.E. at the Resource Management Agency, 5961 S. Mooney Blvd, Visalia CA 93277 or at HBeltran@tularecounty.ca.gov. No question's will be accepted within five (5) working days of the bid opening (Questions must be received by 5:00pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2024). All bidders are invited to attend the bid opening per the link provided. The results of the bid opening will be reported to the Board of Supervisors at a scheduled meeting. The contract will be awarded in the manner and within the time periods provided in Section 3 of the Standard Specifications, Department of Transportation of the State of California, 2023 Edition, as amended by the project Special Provisions, unless the Board of Supervisors exercises its right to reject any or all bids. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to deem any bid as non-responsive for any information crossed out from the bid packet including information completed by the manufacturer. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and/or waive any informality in any bid, and/or determine in its discretion the responsibility of any bidder. The Board of Supervisors further reserves the right to use County Forces, or to negotiate contracts, or both, to the extent authorized by the Public Contract Code. Work to be done consists, in general, of a combination of: i. Installing sidewalk, curb & gutter, ADA curb ramps, drainage inlet adjustments ii. Driveways and paveout sections iii. Retaining curbs and walls iv. Upgrades existing signage, traffic striping and pavement markings
