Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Morgan Hill, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.
The Work will consist of demolition including the demolition of the Burnett House at Anderson Lake County Park; 19245 Malaguerra Avenue, Morgan Hill, CA 95037 The successful contractor shall be responsible for all necessary equipment, tools, materials, labor, and supplies required to perform the work as specified herein. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashiers check, or a bond in the sum of not less than 10% of the total aggregate of the bid price, including all additive bid items. The check or bond must be made payable to The County of Santa Clara. BID BOND: The original bid bond shall be mailed/delivered and addressed to: County of Santa Clara - Procurement Department Attn.: MINOR PUBLIC WORKS program; Dan Duong, Procurement Officer 130 W. Tasman Drive, First Floor San Jose, CA 95134 For ORIGINAL Bid Bond drop-off, please call Dan Duong at 408-491-7405 when you arrive at the front lobby. For ORIGINAL Bid Bond mailed through a 3rd party carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS), please email the tracking number to the Procurement Officer at Dan.Duong@prc.sccgov.org prior to bid due date. Q & A deadline: Mar 05, 2024 5:00:00 PM PT If Contractor discovers conflicts, omissions, or errors in the Contract Documents, or has any questions concerning interpretation or needs clarification of Contract Documents, Contractor must immediately submit to the Project Manager, in writing, an RFI that clearly and concisely sets forth the issue for which interpretation or clarification is sought and Contractor's interpretation or understanding of the requirements, along with reasons why it has reached such an understanding. B. Responses to RFIs will be issued by Owner's Project Manager. RFI responses shall not change any requirement of the Contract Documents. C. Should Contractor contend that a response to an RFI causes a change to the requirements of the Contract Documents, Contractor must, before proceeding, give written notice to Owner indicating that Contractor considers the response to the RFI to be a change to the requirements of the Contract Documents. Contractor may not proceed with Work that Contractor asserts to require a Change Order until Contractor and Owner have executed a Change Order, or Owner has directed Contractor to proceed with or without the asserted Change Order. Successful contractor shall be responsible for all necessary tools; materials; consumables, which shall include, but shall not be limited to, workers' supplies or protective garments and disposable items used in furtherance of completing the Work; waste management and disposal; prevailing wage labor; supplies; and non-specialty equipment required to perform the work as specified herein. See Exhibit C, Scope of Work/Specifications, for details. Contractor shall be required to provide the necessary trained personnel and supervision to perform the demolition of the Burnett House at Anderson Lake County Park. Moving/Demolition Contractors License issued by the Contractors State License Board at the time the bid is submitted, per Business and Professions Code section 7028.15.
