Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sauk City, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Complete roadway reconstruction of approximately 2400 linear feet, including curb and gutter, multi-use path, and sidewalk spot repair. Utility work includes replacement of 2600 linear feet of watermain, including water services, 350 linear feet of sanitary sewer replacement and storm sewer replacement along the corridor. This will include approximately 3000 tons of asphalt, 11,000 tons of base course with 80% of the base course provided by the Village. The project includes one bid alternate of 625 linear feet of pulverize and overlay along South Water Street. Engineer estimate of probable cost is $2,000,000. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. The anticipated substantial completion date is 10/01/2024 and final completion date is 11/1/2024.
