Master Agreement Contract for the Mowing and Trimming of Roadside Turf on Highway Right-of-Way areas for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Department of Highways on various routes in Shelby County within District 5. The term "Department", as applied to this Master Agreement will be understood to be synonymous with the terms, "Commonwealth of Kentucky, Transportation Cabinet, or Department of Highways". The term "Vendor" will be understood to be synonymous with the term "Contractor". All organizations and individuals bidding on this Department of Highways Right-of-Way Mowing project shall possess a Certificate of Eligibility as provided in regulations published by the Department according to KRS Section 176.140 and as stipulated in Section 102.01 of the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Current Edition. This certificate shall be for the work item I-29 (Right of Way Mowing) and I-37 (Traffic Control). Contrary to Section 102.02 of the manual, Division of Purchases will not consider a contractors capacity rating with regard to award of a Master Agreement.
