Tully Parking Lot Reconstruction The Town reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to waive any informalities therein. As described in the Bid Documents, all bidders are required to submit proof of participation in apprentice training programs which have been registered and approved by the New York State Department of Labor for the trades necessary to perform the work stated in the Bid Documents, along with certificates of completion issued by the Department of Labor recognizing an individual's successful completion of a state-approved and state-registered apprenticeship program in any trade and job title necessary for the performance of the work described in the Bid Documents. All questions/requests for information (RFI's)/clarifications shall be submitted in writing to licensed professional (Cashin Associates, P.C.) by end of business, Friday, March 8th, 2024. The Town will not accept Bids from, nor award a Contract to, anyone who cannot prove to the satisfaction of the Town Board that he has sufficient experience in this type of construction and financially able and organized to successfully carry out the work covered by the Plans and Specifications in the required completion time. Special qualification requirements are contained in the Contract Documents. All other deposits will be refunded on the basis of fifty (50%) percent of the deposit amount for sets returned in good condition within the same period. Sets are to be returned to the office of the Town Clerk at the above address for full or partial deposit refund. No bids shall be received unless made in writing on forms furnished, and unless accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond made payable to the Town of North Hempstead for an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the Bid price.
