The work under each contract includes all labor, materials, equipment and appurtenances required for the complete construction of all items of work necessaiy or required to make the installation complete and correct in every respect and guaranteed to be substantial, safe and ready for regular operation and use by the Owner. Only new materials will be acceptable for use on the projects. All work must conform to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) storm water regulations as applicable and to the satisfaction of the Town of Babylon. This requires a sediment erosion control plan, which may include hay bales, silt fence and installation of a stabilized construction entrance. This may require the preparation of a storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP). Itshall be the responsibility ofthe successful contractor to follow prepared the SWPP and Notice ofIntent (NOI) for submission to the New York State Dept, of Environmental Conservation. Contractor shall submit the SWPP to the Town ofBabylon Dept, ofEnvironmental Control for approval. The SWPPP must conform to the latest version ofthe New York State Storm Water Design Manual and New York State Standards and Specifications for Erosion and Sediment Control. All required qualifications and certifications must be fulfilled pursuant to the NYSDEC storm water regulations in connection with the SWPPP. This also includes periodic inspection ofthe construction site as required by the NYSDEC storm water regulations. If a SWPPP is required, all construction work must follow the approved SWPPP. If a SWPP is required, it shall be prepared by others.
