The project consists of all labor and materials for renovations of the offices, creation of conference room, and creation of barrier-free toilet rooms. A single lump sum proposal is being entertained for combined general, and mechanical / electrical trades work (all trades). Proposal to include State of Michigan, Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) mandated prevailing wage rates and recording. Bids shall be submitted on forms furnished by the Architect as part of the Bidding Documents and shall be executed completely in strict accordance with the Bidding Documents. Bid opening shall be public. Any interpretation to a proposer regarding the bid or any part thereof is valid only if given by the Architect. Interpretations may or may not be given orally (may be written) depending on the nature of the inquiry. Interpretations that could affect other proposers will be in writing and issued by the Architect. All inquires shall be made within reasonable time prior to the stated deadline in order that a written response in the form of an addendum, if required can be processed before bids are opened.
