Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Douglas, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Only qualified Contractors will be considered for award of this Contract. In order to be considered qualified; the Contractor shall have been successfully pre-qualified under Prequalification No. P22-43 Category B to submit a Tender for the Work of this Contract. The proposed Work includes the supply and installation of approximately 262 metres of 200 mm ductile iron water main, 89 metres of 150 mm ductile iron water main, 332 metres of 200 mm sanitary sewer main, 350 metres of various sizes of storm sewer, and includes the reconnection of service laterals, roadway granulars, roadway reinstatement, asphalt concrete, curbs, landscaping, and all related appurtenances. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid bond or certified cheque in lieu thereof in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Tender Price (including H.S.T.). Subject to the Contract Documents, the successful Bidder shall be required to provide Performance Guarantees as specified in the Tender Documents and in compliance with the Construction Remedies Act S.N.B. 2020, c. 29. The Bid that is compliant with Phase I mandatory requirements hereunder and contains the lowest or any Bid Price will not necessarily be accepted by the City.
