The City reserves the right to accept bids in part or whole, reject any Bid, or to accept a Bid containing variations from these specifications if the Bid so merits. The Board of Mayor and Aldermen is the final authority and shall have the right to reject any single Bid or all Bids submitted and to make awards, as deemed, to be in its best interest. This work shall consist of fabricating and installing decorative thermoplastic crosswalks in the City of Germantown on an "as ordered" basis. Prior to fabrication, the Public Art Division will share design files in accordance with dimensions and crosswalk specifications determined and approved by the Germantown Engineering Department. Contractor be required to provide traffic control measures to install the decorative thermoplastic crosswalks. All traffic control shall be in conformance with the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD manual)." Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform the Installation of the decorative thermoplastic crosswalks in various locations. Based on budgetary approval, the initial phase is the installation of decorative crosswalks at (2) crosswalks measuring 96' x 6' and 92' x 10'. Exact quantities cannot now be determined, but an estimate has been provided. Quantities listed may be increased or decreased to meet the requirements of the City of Germantown during the twelve month period.
