Description

Renovation of a water / sewer project in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The treatment units are nearing the end of their useful life and are in need of rehabilitation. City plans to sand blast and paint the interior of the units in 2022. This project would include: 1) Sand blast and coat the tank exteriors; 2) Replace internal rake, gear box, motor, platform, walkway, electrical panels, and control panels; 3) Equip motor with variable frequency drive controls; and 4) Integrate system with the plant SCADA for remote automation The project is include in the city's 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
