The project is located on 854 Road between 574 Aventue and 575 Avenue in Wayne County, Nebraska. The project is referred to as "Wayne Southwest, C-90(622)" and shall include all labor, materials, transportation and equipment required for the construction of one three span 110' continuous concrete slab bridge on a 15-degree skew (RHB) with a 28' clear roadway, channel shaping, roadway grading, culvert installation and other related incidental work. Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the County Treasurer or Wayne County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five(5) percent of the Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to provide a Start of Construction date and End of Construction date for each project with its Bid Proposal. The desired completion date is September 1, 2024. The Contractor will be allowed one hundred and ten (110) calendar days. The completion date will be the earlier of the date indicated in the bid proposal or the actual start date plus the allotted calendar days. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the engineer. Within ten(10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to acceptance by the Wayne County Board of Commissioners. The Wayne County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject an and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received.
