Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Sandersville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Contractor shall provide to the City of Sandersville a lump sum price for the completion of each parcel. The Contractor shall be entitled to one final payment only for each parcel. Before any payment is made, the Contractor shall furnish to the City two complete itemized bills, one for Parcel A and another for Parcel B. Final payment will be made within thirty (30) days after the completion of the work and acceptance of the work by the City and Property Owner. The City shall only be responsible for the final payment of Parcel A. The Property Owner shall be responsible for payment of Parcel B. Final payment shall not relieve the Contractor of responsibility for faulty materials or workmanship, and he shall remedy any defects due thereto and pay for any damages to other work resulting there from which shall appear for a period of one year from the date of final acceptance. Questions will be answered and responded to until 4:30pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. You may submit any questions to tfort@sandersvillega.org. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicalities in the bid process, to award any bid or portion of a bid which is deemed to be the most advantageous to the City of Sandersville and to make such investigations as are deemed necessary to determine the ability of the vendor to perform the services requested.
