Renovation of a detention facility in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

Shelby County Fiscal Court and the Shelby County Detention Center will be accepting bids to replace roof top units (HVAC units) for the Shelby County Detention Center. Funding will come from the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery (SLFRF) and will contingent upon compliance with all terms and conditions of the SLFRF funding award. All contractors must comply with all applicable federal laws, regulations, executive orders and terms and conditions of the funding award. Specifications include: Removal and disposal of old units Installation of new units to fully functional Not to exceed approved funding of $700,000.00 Any questions can be addressed to: Jailer Darrell Cox: (502)633-2343 ext. 222 Shelby County Fiscal Court has the right to accept or reject all bids. Shelby County Fiscal court reserves the right to accept the bid deemed to be in it's best interest, not necessarily the lowest bid; the right to disqualify bids from bidders not' deemed to be qualified; the right to disqualify bids to be defective and the right to waive defects in bids where such defects are not deemed significant.
