Renovation of a detention facility in Saint Joseph, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Berrien County Building and Grounds Department is seeking bids for the Jail ADA Restroom Renovations . The Berrien County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or make any deviations deemed in the best interest of Berrien County. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to Berrien County of Michigan or a satisfactory BID bond executed by the BIDDER and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent (5%) of the BID shall be submitted with each WORK PACKAGE BID over $100,000. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, for all projects over $50,000. IDDER agrees that the WORK will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with the General Requirements & Conditions on or before Sixty (60) calendar days after work begins.
