The Invitation to Bid is to supply labor and materials required to plant the 170 trees listed in the Technical Specifications. You are requested to submit your bid on the enclosed Proposal Sheet and return the signed Proposal section to the Sr. Contract Specialist, City of Wilmington, 929 North Front Street, 10th Floor Wilmington, North Carolina 28402. Contact Mr. Aaron Reese, Forestry Management Supervisor at (910) 341-0078; or Kelly Blair, Tree Crew Supervisor at (910) 341-7824; with any questions concerning the scope of this contract. Award will be made to the lowest responsive responsible bidder for all trees and labor to plant. All items must be bid in order to be considered for the award. Payment will be made by the City of Wilmington within 30 days after receipt of an approved invoice. The City of Wilmington will retain 10% of the total invoice to guarantee survival of trees as set forth in the guarantee section. Terms and Conditions attached to the quote by the bidder and made a condition of purchase may render the quote non-responsive and may be rejected by the City of Wilmington. Terms and Conditions included herein are an integral part of the contract document and shall prevail unless changes or attachment are agreed to and initialed by the City of Wilmington prior to the award of the contract. The city of wilmington reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
