The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: renovation of an educational facility. As of February 26, 2024, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. The Owsley County District Wide Upgrades project will be for the HVAC, plumbing and restroom renovations in Owsley County High School and Owsley County Elementary School including new finishes in the restrooms and adjacent spaces. A 5% bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid, including all alternates, is required to be submitted with the official form of proposal. A 100% performance and payment bond shall be provided for the full base bid amount plus any accepted bid alternate(s), upon receipt of a Notice of Award.
