Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Hillsboro, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
**As of March 25, 2024, project was awarded to Gershenson Construction Co., in the amount of $2,672,269.12.** The proposed work includes: The replacement of Commerce Drive Bridge in Arnold, MO. This is a phased construction project - where half of the bridge will be built allowing Commerce Drive to be open to traffic during construction. The bridge replacement project includes a complete new super structure that includes box beams, drilled rock sockets with steel piles set in concrete, concrete deck & barrier walls, along with new concrete approach slabs and concrete pavement. The total project length is 201'. A cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. A certificate of insurance shall be submitted with each proposal. All bids shall be made on the forms provided. Three (3) copies of the bid must be submitted, one (1) being original inked. Jefferson County, Missouri reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received, and to award the contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, with MoDOT concurrence. The DBE goal for this project is 8%. The contractor shall have a maximum of 90 Working Days or 8/31/25 Completion Date to complete the project.
