Work will be issued to successful Providers as needed under written task orders. The amount of each task order will be based on the scope of services provided but will not exceed $250,000. The Port makes no guarantee of a certain minimum amount of work under any contract which may result from this RFP. such as the Scope of Services, specifications, and Sample Contract attached as Schedule 1.2 and its associated Schedules o February 29, 2024 Questions and answers (Q&A) period ends o March 7, 2024 3 p.m. deadline for receipt of proposals o March 14, 2024 Presentations or demonstrations (if required) o March 18, 2024 Selection of apparent successful Provider announced o March 25, 2024 Award protest period ends o April 1, 2024 Contract begins (approx.) Scope of Services See Schedule 1.7 Scope of Services Describe professional qualifications of the Provider's firm and summarize the firm's experience performing projects of similar scope, complexity, and size. Describe their familiarity with the following. Has the Provider participated in the Port's Mentor-Protege program either as a mentor or protege If the scope of services allow, does Provider intend to outreach and/or utilize any graduates of the Mentor - Protege program for work awarded under this solicitation. If the Provider has not participated in the Port's Mentor - Protege program, describe any efforts you may have taken to mentor small firms. Considering the scope of work of this RFP, past small business achievements on similar types of projects and the Provider's current relationships with the small business community, clearly state what small business goal as a percentage of the contract dollars the Provider believes it can realistically achieve on this project based on the proposed work. (The percentage stated will become the contract goal). Submit a work plan that describes portions of the work the Provider will subcontract and identify work items that could be performed by small businesses. Describe the actions and strategies the Provider will take to increase SBE participation in this work. Include names of small businesses that will be subcontractors on this project and identify/describe what work scopes, and anticipated contract amount, the named small business subcontractor will perform. (Firms identified will be notified upon award of any contract awarded under this solicitation). Provider's commitment to community involvement, (e.g., supporting charitable programs, scholarships, economic development, etc.). Describe any additional equity considerations Provider could commit to engaging in during the performance of this work scope of project. The nature, scope, and performance specifications of the Services and the required time specifications for Provider's performance under this Contract are set forth on the attached Schedule 2.1. The Provider will work with the Port of Portland's Site and Facilities Design team and Port Maintenance to establish pre-approved sign samples, fabrication timeline, and cost expectations. Existing signage is currently maintained by in-house Port Maintenance. Consideration should be made for continued maintenance by the Port team. Proposer shall consider equipment requirements for signage reproduction. Equipment should be readily available and supplied by multiple manufacturers.
