The City of Marceline is accepting SEALED bids for the purpose of mowing City property at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Bidders may supply a bid for the 2024 season mowing season only and/or both the 2024 and 2025 mowing seasons. The successful bidder must have Commercial General Liability Insurance with a minimum limit of $250,000 each occurrence / $500,000 general aggregate written on an occurrence basis and Comprehensive Business Automobile Liability Insurance for all owned, non owned and hired automobiles and other vehicles used by Contractor with a combined single limit of $500,000 minimum. The successful bidder must carry Workers Compensation Insurance if bidder employees five(5) or more employees The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities in any or all bids, and reserves the right to determine which is the most responsive, responsible bidder and to reject or approve the bonds. Furthermore, the bid selected will be from the bidder which, in the opinion of the Council, submits the bid that best meets the needs of the City.
