Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Pennsauken Pool Complex River Road Park Improvements, Bid Packet No. 24:05. The scope of work includes construction of an asphalt and concrete walkway path, reconstruction of the hockey court and tennis courts, and installation of an exercise obstacle course, as well as all other work of any type or description necessary for completion of the project whether or not specifically described in the Contract Documents. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within one hundred twenty (120) Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. Contract Documents and Plans for the proposed Work, which have been prepared by Edwin J. Steck, P.E. of the firm of T&M Associates will be made available electronically or at the office of said Engineer at 200 Century Parkway, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Interested Bidders must send an e-mail request to csander@tandmassociates.com. Bidders interested in receiving bid packages electronically will be provided with a link to download the documents after receipt of proper notice and payment of a non-refundable charge of Twenty -Five Dollars ($25.00) payable to "T&M Associates" to defray the cost thereof. Bidders interested in obtaining hard copies of the documents in person from the office must make an appointment with Cynthia Sander. Bidders will be furnished with a hard copy of the Contract Documents upon proper notice and payment of a non-refundable charge of One-hundred Dollars ($100.00) payable to "T&M Associates" at the offices of T&M Associates to defray the cost thereof. The provided Bid Packet must be completed in the manner designated in the Contract Documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the Project on the outside and must be addressed to Ms. Pamela Scott-Forman, Municipal Clerk. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "Pennsauken Township " for not less than ten percent (10 %) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The award of the Contract for this Project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by Pennsauken Township in a lawful manner. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the applicable statutory requirements of the Contract Documents and Plans which include all of the following: (i) NJ.AC. 17:27; (ii) NJ.S.A.10:5-31 et seq.; (iii) Business Registrations (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 ); (iv) Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11 -56 .25 , et seq.); (v) Public Work Contractor Registration (N.J.S.A. 34 :11 -56 .48); and (vi) Affirmative Action Requirements (N.J.S.A. 1 0 :5-1 , et seq. and P.L.1975,C.127); and any other legal requirements applicable to this Project. Pennsauken Township intends to award this Project to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder in accordance with applicable law. Pennsauken Township reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. An award will be made or Bid Packets will be rejected within sixty (60) Calendar Days after the opening of the Bid Packets, during which time the Bid Packets shall be irrevocable and unavailable to withdraw by Bidders, unless otherwise extended in the Contract Documents. The deadline for submitting questions is Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 12:00pm. Questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer.
