The City of Dubuque (City) is requesting Competitive Sealed Proposals from qualified companies or contractors interested in entering into a contract with the City to be the sole contracted provider of grass mowing and weed control services of approximately 19 City-owned residential properties which are managed by the City of Dubuque Housing and Community Development Department. The Company or contractor selected for the Grass Mowing Services will be expected to meet the following requirements: Scope of Work (the Work)- Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and other services required to maintain grass and weeds in a timely manner at the locations identified in the property list. Duration of Contract - Contract shall run from May 1, 2024, through November 14, 2024. The City will retain the option to extend the contract for up to 2 subsequent years, with a performance period of May 1, through November 14th. The City will notify the contractor 30 days before the contract expires if the contract has been extended. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereof. The City further reserves the right to waive technicalities and formalities in bids, as well as to accept in whole or in part such bids where it is deemed advisable in protection of the best interests of the City.
