In-SHUCK-ch and Lillooet West Forest Service Road Maintenance This is a major works contract for the performance of year-round maintenance and emergency repairs primarily on the In-SHUCK-ch (7343), Lillooet West (8407) and Pemberton Fire Base (8150) FSRs. Potential bidders should be made aware this contract is subject to funding, and therefore should anticipate quantities to vary. The FSRs are located southeast of the town of Pemberton, extending for 88 km along Lillooet Lake and Lillooet River to Harrison Lake. Site locations are shown on the Location Map included with the tender package, as follows: In-SHUCK-ch FSR from the junction of the FSR and Highway 99 (Duffey Lake Road) to the head of Harrison Lake (88km). Lillooet West FSR from 29km (Tenas Narrows Bridge) to 73km (junction of the In-SHUCK-ch FSR - Fire Creek) (44km). Port Douglas Branch 02 (junction at 68km on the In-SHUCK-ch FSR) to Courthouse Creek (8km). Pemberton Fire Base - off Airport Road, Pemberton (1.5km). The works may include: Grading (1 week minimum response) Snow plowing (24 hour minimum response) 20 cm accumulated snowfall or as directed by a Ministry Representative Winter sanding (24 hour minimum response) Emergency response to storm damage (12 hour minimum response) Structural and road surface repairs Signage installation, manual brushing, traffic control The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. This solicitation is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA), the Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America on Government Procurement (CUSPA), and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA). Question Deadline 03/11/2024 at 4:00 PM PT The successful Contractor shall be required to have a pre-work meeting with the Ministry Representative to review the contract prior to commencement of the work. Any subjects discussed and decisions made at the pre-work conference shall form an integral part of the Contract. The term of the contract will be April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025 Estimated Contract Duration (12 months)
