Site work for a water / sewer project in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Southport Berth Design Build project will construct a new multi-use wharf, initially to be used for the Roll-On/Roll-Off (Ro/Ro) import of automobiles. The wharf will eventually be converted to container operations. The wharf size will be approximately 1033' x 115'. Notice of Intent to Award April 19, 2024. Contract Award April 30, 2024. Substantial Completion must occur on or before the Substantial Completion date in the Offeror's schedule or April 30, 2027, whichever date is earlier. Final Completion must be achieved by September 30, 2027. Liquidated damages in the amount of $22,505.00 apply beginning the first day after the Substantial Completion date listed below. Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Total Lump Sum base bid amount is required in the form of a certified or bank check, or a Bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in this Commonwealth. Question Deadline 03/15/2024 Deadline to Submit Questions (via Procurement@philaport.com). PhilaPort reserves the right to modify, cancel or withdraw this RFP in whole or in part any time prior to full execution of the contract. PhilaPort reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received as a result of this RFP.
