The Work consists of the replacement of Owner's eight existing influent and effluent pumps housed in the existing building basement of the Sonoma Valley County Sanitation District's Treatment Plant influent/effluent building, all exposed influent suction and discharge piping, valves, flow meters and associated electrical and control equipment located at 22675 8th Street East in Sonoma, California. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the demolition of all existing pumps, piping, electrical and control equipment within the building; installation of five new 85 horsepower dry pit submersible influent pumps and associated piping and valves within the existing building basement; construction of a new exterior effluent pump station adjacent to the building with three 250 horsepower vertical turbine pumps in sub-grade pump cans with associated piping and valves; installation of two slide gates in the existing exterior headworks channels; modifications to the existing exterior influent and effluent wet wells; installation of eight variable frequency drives (VFDs) and back-up reduced-voltage soft starters (RVSS) in the building; installation of a programmable logic controller (PLC) and associated equipment; PLC programming and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) integration to control the new equipment; and associated civil Site Work adjacent to the building. The new sewer pump station will be located within the SVWWTP facility near the southwestern edge. The SVWWTP facility is bordered by Schell Creek to the south, 8th Street to the east with agricultural fields beyond, and agricultural field to the north and west. Existing improvements at the SVWWTP include several buildings, tanks, ponds, and a solar array field. Associated improvements include paved roads, concrete flatwork, underground utilities, and landscaping.
