The Project generally consists of traditional and trenchless reconstruction and rehabilitation of a sanitary sewer collection system including approximately 25,000 LF of CCTV, 46,000 LF of cured-in-place sewer main, 200 trenchless service lateral connections, 6,300 LF of pipe bursting, construction of 50 manholes and 1,350 VF of manhole rehabilitation. Associated work includes CCTV of service laterals, pipeline point repairs, cleanout installations, miscellaneous manhole improvements, site restoration and erosion and sediment control. The Owner requires the Project to be substantially complete in 330 calendar days from the date that the Contract Times commence to run as indicated on the Notice to Proceed. In order to Bid on the Project, the Bidder shall possess a valid General Contractor's license for work in the State of Alabama. The Contractor's license number shall be clearly indicated on the outside of sealed Bid envelopes. Bidder and its Subcontractors shall comply with all applicable licensing requirements of the Code of Alabama, federal and local Laws or Regulations. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, not to exceed $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and evidence of insurance as prescribed in the Bidding Documents. Funding assistance for the Project is from the State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan Program Information on the applicable federal requirements is contained within the documents. Bid shall be submitted on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. Bids will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids.
