Demolition, site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Natchez, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The funding for the Auburn Columns, Billiard Hall, and Pavilion Restoration is from a 2021Community Heritage Preservation Grant through the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, allocated under the provisions of Senate Bill2971, Laws of Mississippi 2021,along with matching funds from the City of Natchez. No federal funds will be used for this renovation project. Principal items of work include partial demolition, lime based exterior plaster restoration, roof replacement, concrete work, structural stabilization, rough and finish carpentry, historic wood window and door restoration, new doors and hardware, exterior painting, new mechanical, plumbing and electrical work. The above general outline of features of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, equipment and materials required by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein. Guarantee in the amount of 5% of total bid will be required in Contracts exceeding $25,000. 100% Performance and Payment Bond will be required. Bids may be withheld by the Owner for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of bid review and investigation of the bidder's qualifications, prior to award of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities, to negotiate with the lowest and best bidder to reduce the bid price to come with in the funds allocated for the work, to reduce the job in order to stay within available funding or as desirable in the discretion of the Natchez Mayor and Board of Alderman, and to accept bids by classes and/ or groups, if applicable, all asset forth and in accordance with applicable For specific questions related to the project, please contact Belinda Stewart Architects via email at bsa@belindastewartarchitects.com or by phone at 662-258-6405
