Renovation of a golf course in E Falmouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a golf course.
The Town of Falmouth is accepting quotes for architectural repairs and improvements to the Falmouth Country Club Maintenance Building. The scope of work includes roof and trim replacement including all eaves, rake boards, gutters and downspouts, replacement of five (5) existing windows, installation of one (1) new window, and replacement of damaged T1-11 siding. The building is located at The Falmouth Country Club at 430 Old Barnstable RD. East Falmouth, MA 02536. Quotes must include removal and disposal of all construction debris. The work will be completed at non-premium rates, scheduled on a mutually agreed upon time upon acceptance of proposal. All quantities are estimates and should be verified by the contractor. Minimum wage rates are required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H for this project. Current rates will be provided by the Town of Falmouth and weekly certified payrolls shall be supplied by the contractor before any invoices are paid. Matt Burgess - General Manager - Mburgess@falmouthcountryclub.com- 508-548-3211 Scope of Work 1) Roof The above-mentioned structure is an approximately 3,800 square foot building. Existing asphalt shingles and underlayment are to be removed and replaced. The contractor shall furnish and install 30-year architectural asphalt tiles with manufacturer recommended underlayment. Through roof penetrations which are no longer in service (i.e. chimneys and vents) are to be patched at decking and roofed over. 2) Exterior Trim - All eaves, rakes, exterior door, and window casings shall be removed and replaced with Azek composite trim or equal. - All gutters and downspouts are to be removed and replaced with white aluminum. - 2 coats of finish paint on all trims and casement boards will be required. 3) Windows - Replace 5 existing windows and install 1 new window (1 new opening) to increase natural light and ventilation. 4) Replace T1-11 - Replace any rotting or damaged T1-11 Siding. Estimated 5 - 10 Sheets, actual quantity will be determined on mandatory site visit. 5) Painting - Wash, prep, prime and paint plywood/T-1-11 siding.
