Furthermore, within the scope of the AMI phase 1 project, 5,042 advanced meters are currently fitted with Itron 100W endpoints. These meters necessitate the replacement of all 100W endpoints with Itron 500W endpoints. In addition to this, the project entails supplying the labor, tools, and materials to eliminate 398 existing water meter boxes. Then 398 H20 Traffic Rated meter boxes will be installed, accompanied by constructing a concrete pad measuring 4 inches in thickness and 12 inches in diameter around each meter box. This construction process adheres to the SBMWD Standard W1.1 (Attachment), ultimately reaching the final grade. Minimum Experience Requirements: Each Bidder shall show that he/she has completed the installation of three (3) AMI Projects of similar size and complexity within the last five (5) years for a similar size and type of agency. Project experiences with a water utility or other governmental agency are preferred.
