Demolition, site work and addition to a mixed-use development in Hutchinson, Kansas. Completed plans call for the addition of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The City seeks a qualified firm/individual to design, furnish, deliver, and construct the selected pole barn building addition at the fire training grounds located at 3201 E. 4th Hutchinson, KS 67501, in accordance with the specifications outlined in this RFP. The contractor whose proposal is selected will be required to incorporate all mechanical systems into the building plans and foundation work, if any. Hookups for all systems (Water, Sewer and Electrical) shall be stubbed out from the building a minimum of 5 ft to the minimum specifications required by the mechanical plans, if any. The City of Hutchinson will ensure that the systems reach the stub outs and finish interior installation. Refer to the site plan (Exhibit B) for water, sewer, electrical and drainage information. The City of Hutchinson, Kansas seeks a qualified firm/individual to design, furnish and install an addition to an existing Pole Barn building from the specifications listed herein depending on cost. The City seeks a qualified firm/individual to design, furnish, deliver, and construct the selected pole barn building addition at the fire training grounds located at 3201 E. 4th Hutchinson, KS 67501, in accordance with the specifications outlined in this RFP. Concrete work is listed as a separate project. 1.1.1 40' Width x 40' Length (14ft. Inside height and attached to pre-existing building) 2.1.2 40' Width x 40' Length (1,600sqft 6" Inside Concrete Floor w/ 1/2" rebar 2'o/c) or (1,600sqft 8" Inside Concrete Floor w/ 1/2" rebar 2'o/c) All interested firms/individuals are invited to submit their proposals, in the form specified by this Request for Proposals. All questions concerning this project during the solicitation process shall be forwarded to the Project Manager listed above. Questions thus submitted will be answered by written addenda issued to all prospective Proposers. Oral or other interpretations or clarifications will be void, without any legal effect, and do not bind the City The City of Hutchinson is a Tax-free organization. Bids shall not include tax; tax exempt certification will be provided upon request. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals received as a result of this RFP, or to negotiate separately with competing contractors. The City also reserves the right to waive any informalities, defects, or irregularities in any Proposals, or to accept such Proposals as shall be deemed to be in the best interest of the City. If possible, the City desires to complete the construction of the pole barn building addition 120 days after the approval of the contract.
