Renovation of a municipal facility in Quincy, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Question Deadline 03/21/2024 at 5:00 PM CT The project consists of replacement of the building roof and select HVAC equipment; masonry repairs; modification of select office space; replacement of flooring; interior painting; and associated building mechanical, electrical and plumbing work. The City Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past. The City of Quincy is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer and encourages minority group participation in the bidding and construction process. Bidders are notified that no less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid to all workers performing work under this contract. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Base Bid: The base bid work includes the renovation of the first floor, various façade improvements, and replacement of the existing roof. Base bid work also includes replacement of roof top units, boilers, pumps, and the HVAC controls. 2. Alternate Bid #1: The Alternate Bid #1 work includes the renovation of the second floor. 3. Alternate Bid #2: The Alternate Bid #2 work includes a new electrical service, generator, automatic transfer switch, and new electrical main distribution panel.
