Remodeling and renovation of a medical facility in Garland, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,907-square-foot medical facility; and for the remodel of a medical facility.

A. Work Included 1. Provide all labor, materials, tools, field-test instruments and equipment required for the complete testing, identification and administration of the work called for in the Contract Documents. 2. In order to conform to the overall project event schedule, the cabling contractor shall survey the work areas and coordinate cabling testing with other applicable trades. 3. In addition to the tests detailed in this document, the contractor shall notify the Owner or the Owners representative of any additional tests that are deemed necessary to guarantee a fully functional system. The contractor shall carry out and record any additional measurement results at no additional charge. A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents. See Drawing G1.1 for project description. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Project scope includes but is not limited to renovations to the Patient Financial Services, updating 5 exam rooms on Level 1 (Add Alternate 1), updating Podiatry reception and Behavioral reception, updating lighting around the atrium (Add Alternate 2)), Interim Life Safety Measures and Infection Control Requirements, relocating existing signage for the suite, any testing and balancing for new HVAC configuration and graphics to Parkland for the Building Automation System. Trades include metals, wood, plastics and composites, thermal and moisture protection, openings, finishes, specialties, equipment, furnishings, fire supression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communication, electronic safety and security.
