Deadline for Written Questions 02/28/2024 at 3:00 pm EST Short List Announcement Week of 03/18/2024 Offeror Presentations Week of 03/25/2024 Letter of Intent to Negotiate Contract Week of 04/08/2024 Intent and Scope of Work The University of Louisville is seeking to enter into an agreement for their custodial services for University Housing and the Resident Experience (UHRE) as well as the Student Recreation Center (SRC). The successful respondent needs to be able to staff an operation responsible for 10 residence halls and one office building (Stevenson) for UHRE, and the Student Recreation Center. The residence hall facilities operate 24/7/365. An on-call component is a requirement due to the around- the-clock nature of the facilities of UHRE. The Student Recreation Center operates 6:30 am - 11:00 pm. . All submitted proposals must include the following information. Offerors that do not meet this requirement may be subject to disqualification: A list of equipment that will be used and paid for by the University while providing services along with a description of its purpose. . A detailed list of all products used while performing requested services. Details should include, but are not limited to, brand names, product descriptions, and an explanation of each product's purpose. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) will be required to be provided by awarded supplier prior to starting any work. . Outline of supervisory staff for daily contracted services to include: o Number of staff at each site o Supervisory plan o Plan for ensuring expected level of service when dealing with short staffing or call-offs o Hours of coverage o Time of day on site o Buildings to which individuals are assigned. o Plan detailing how to complete special project work such as: o Time consuming deep cleans performed annually; o Light cleans performed as needed; o Carpet steam cleaning in all bedrooms and common areas performed annually; o Furniture and floor care; quarterly o Cleaning of light fixtures, HVAC vents, dusting of common areas, quarterly Plans should include: o Number of staff for project work team o Supervisor for project work team . A square foot price (for each: carpet, tile, etc.) for public non-restroom/bathroom areas for additional services, if required.
