The City of San Diego (City) Public Utilities Department (PUD) has a need for professional engineering consultant services on an as-needed basis to support the Dam Safety Program on projects related to City Dams and Reservoirs. Due to the on-going program development, identifying specific tasks for the Consultant to perform will also be on-going. As specific requirements are established, the Consultant will be authorized in writing by the City to perform said requirements as an individual "Task Order" on an as-needed basis. Estimated Bid Value Each Contract NTE $75,000,000 The Consultant must be able to perform work in the anticipated areas delineated below, meeting all City, state, and federal guidelines and regulatory requirements. Work under this contract will be related to dam structures, appurtenances, and components associated with retention, release, and conveyance of water. Under this contract, the Consultant will provide the following types of services during the design and construction phases of projects: engineering analyses and studies in support of dam design, dam design and engineering support, and environmental support. Refer to Exhibit A for Scope of Services. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
