ESB D4 Manhole Repairs Project. No Pre-Bid Conference. Substantial Completion: September 20, 2024 Final Completion: September 27, 2024 ODOT is seeking (1) ESB Certified contractor to repair (9) manhole rims at various locations in District 3 and District 4 per Technical Specifications. These specifications identify certain responsibilities of the Project Manager that would otherwise be responsibilities of the Owner's Authorized Representative, in accordance with General Conditions Section A.1. ODOT, as Owner, hereby delegates those identified responsibilities to the Project Manager. All other responsibilities of Owner remain with the Owner's Authorized Representative identified in the Public Improvement Agreement Form. Contractor must perform all work under the Contract during the hours listed below for each highway. No work may be performed outside of the windows listed or on state-observed holidays. The work to be done under this Contract consists of the following: 1. Contractor shall facilitate the repair of 9 (nine) manholes that have broken concrete collars and/or have settled to create a pothole, reducing the safety of the highway. a. The manhole in Molalla will require the contractor to acquire a permit from the City which can be found at the following link at online. 2. The contractor shall be fully responsible for the saw cutting and removal of the roadway debris, transportation of debris, and final debris disposal. 3. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the efficient and effective removal, replacement, and surface restoration at each work site. 4. The contractor shall be responsible for dust control and all other environmental safeguards and protections as necessary. All such safeguards and protections shall comply with federal and state laws and regulations regarding same. 5. All debris shall be disposed in compliance with federal, state, or local laws, regulations, or guidelines providing for proper disposal of the particular type of debris. - Sawcutting, removing, and reconstructing the wearing surface around the cone or flat top's rim. Disposing of the removed material. Adjusting the rim to grade Installing and compacting HMA to achieve a smooth transition. The selected prospective Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the total amount (100%) of the awarded Contract, executed in favor of the State of Oregon, to ensure faithful performance of the Contract and payment for services and goods.
