The Township of Bloomfield is requesting sealed bids for Landscape Maintenance at Lion Gate Park, 1 Lion Gate Drive, Bloomfield, NJ 07003 starting on March 25, 2024 through October 28, 2024. Please note that the township reserves the right to adjust the number of weeks + / - (4) weeks for general landscaping services and adjust the number of bi-monthly weeding (every other week) + / - (4) weeks without the alteration of per weekly pricing. All contractors are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration of Public Contractors), N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. (Contract compliance and Equal Employment Opportunities in Public Contracts). Submissions by Corporations and Partnerships shall include a completed Disclosure of Ownership form (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) and shall include a completed Non-Collusion Affidavit. The Mayor and Council reserves the right to reject any or all bid submissions due to any defects or waive informalities and accept any submissions that in their judgment will be in the best interest of the Township. The Mayor and Council shall award the contract or reject all submissions no later than 60 days from receipt of same. SCOPE: Please refer to Exhibits 1-4 Once a Week Cutting of grass sidewalk apron along Lion Gate Drive from Broad St into the entrance of the park (Both sides/BLUE Highlight). Cutting of the grass along the south side of the parking lot on the park side of the split rail fence. (BLUE Highlight). Cutting of grass inside of the active area of the park highlighted in (BLUE Highlight). Cutting of grass on the lower level between the retaining wall and brook (BLUE Highlight). Weed whacking and blowing of all aforementioned areas.
