Project includes installation of a regional detention pond on current pasture lands next to Taft Avenue south of the Sherri Marr subdivision. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Pursuant to Loveland Municipal Code Section 3.12.140, all construction contracts of $100,000 or more shall be accompanied by a bid security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. Bid security shall be in the form of a certified check or cashier's check drawn on any solvent bank or bid bond The City reserves the right to accept the bid that, in the City's judgment, is the lowest and best bid, to reject any and all bids, and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid that is submitted. Bids received after the time specified for bid opening will be returned unopened. The Aspen Knolls Regional Detention Pond project includes pond grading, an outlet structure, an underdrain cutoff trench/pipe, and storm sewer pipe removal and replacement. The storm sewer pipe removal and replacement in Taft Avenue is to be in the exact same horizontal and vertical invert location as the existing pipe. The pond project may be constructed during the same time frame as the adjacent Aspen Knolls Subdivision project is being constructed. Coordination between the pond project and the subdivision project may occur
