Construction of a new salt storage building with electrical and ventilation systems at both the Ladd and LaSalle IDOT Yards. Electric service to include a new distribution panel with surge protection for each building, new lighting, and new receptacles. The Illinois Department of Transportation facility is located at 1525 North Avenue in Ladd, Illinois. The property has flat topography and contains a gravel lot with multiple structures. The new structure is planned to be a salt storage shed constructed on the southeast corner of the existing gravel lot with an approximate footprint of 110 ft. by 70 ft. An air photo with the approximate locations of the existing and proposed structures is shown on Figure 2 included in the Appendix. Modifications to bids submitted through the e-Builder portal shall be made in the portal at any time prior to the bidding deadline by logging into the e-Builder system, recalling the previously submitted bid, and submitting the revised bid amounts. In the event that the bidder experiences technical errors when making a modification to its bid in the e-Builder portal, the bidder must submit a screenshot of the error to CDB.CPO@illinois.gov prior to the bidding deadline. Once the error has been submitted, a vendor will be provided detailed instructions on submitting its bid or bid modification via an alternative file transfer system. CDB will evaluate the information provided in the email and, in consultation with the CPOs office, determine if the bid should be accepted or rejected.
