Description of Project shall include but is not limited to: Installation of one joined hip fabric shade structure in the courtyard and one cantilever hip fabric shade structure over the outdoor stage, including power and lighting. Location- 600 W. La Palma Ave. Anaheim, CA 90805 The Contract Time is 30 consecutive calendar days. Estimated Construction Cost: $100,000 No Prequalification requirements needed for this project Pre-bid Inquiries due by March 1, 2024 no later than 4:00 p.m., shall be submitted to Mr. Jerome Cygan, Supervisor of Construction Projects, Facilities, Planning and Construction Department, via e-mail only District Contact for this Bid: Mr. Jerome Cygan, E-Mail: jcygan@aesd.org Note: Location for Receipt of Bids for the District's Purchasing Department: Outside of Building B. Use any available parking space by small parking lot. District personnel will receive bids inside glass door under awning (this is also the entrance to the Board Room). Directional signage will be posted at the site. This Project is being let in accordance with the informal bid requirements of the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act ("CUPCCAA") set forth in Public Contract Code section 22000 et seq. (specifically, the informal bidding procedures in Section 22032(b)). Bidders shall comply with any requirements set forth in the CUPCCAA including all guidelines and requirements in the current California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Commission Cost Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual. All contractors submitting bids must be on the District's current list of approved contractors pursuant to Public Contract Code section 22034. If the District has included additive/deductive alternates which require all bidders to price as part of their bid, the District will utilize the following method to determine the lowest bidder in accordance with Public Contract Code section 20103.8: The lowest bid shall be the lowest bid price on the base contract without consideration of the prices on the additive or deductive items.** **Note: Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20103.8, the selection process selected does not preclude the District from using any of the additive or deductive alternates from the Contract after the lowest responsible responsive bidder has been determined. Bids shall be received in the place identified above, and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above-stated time and place. DSA APP#: 03-122941 Selective demolition and construction necessary for the HORACE MANN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SHADE STRUCTURES project including associated geotechnical, civil, architectural, structural, plumbing, mechanical and/or electrical work as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications. Site Logistics Plan to be submitted by Contractor based upon District's requirements for Phasing. If the Project requires Phasing, Contractor to submit a separate Site Logistics Plan per phase. Site Logistics Plan, including updates throughout the Project, to be submitted to District upon request. Prior to commencement of the Work, and no later than ten (10) calendar days, Contractor shall prepare and submit to the District, a detailed Project Site Logistics Plan. Site Logistics Plan to be in the same size and scale of the Drawings, setting forth Contractor plan of the Work, including but not limited to: . In accordance with local ordinances a truck access route to and from the Project site. . The identification of any overhead wire restrictions for power, street lighting, signal, and/or cable. . Local sidewalk access and street closure requirements. . Protection of sidewalk pedestrians and vehicular traffic. . Project site fencing and access gate locations. . Construction parking. . Material staging and/or delivery areas. . Material storage areas. Temporary trailer locations. . Temporary service location and proposed routing of all temporary utilities . Location of temporary and/or accessible fire protection . Trash removal and location of dumpsters. . Concrete pumping locations. Start of Project June 6, 2024 Project Completion 30 Calendar Days from Start of Project as Provided in the NTP
