Contractor is bidding to perform lawn care services at all city facilities as one bid. In addition, contractor is to provide a per-acre rate for on-call mowing services. Maps are attached for each addressed facility. The selected Contractor shall provide the following services weekly (32 times) at each location: 1. Labor, materials and equipment for implementation of requested services: a. Areas mowed, trimmed, edged and cleaned i. String line trimming is required around all obstacles including but not limited to signs, fences, building lines, trees and steps. This trimming shall be performed with each mowing. ii. Blade edging of all sidewalks, concrete pads, walkways and curbs shall be performed with each mowing. Use of a string trimmer for edging purposes will not be accepted. 2. Damage to tree trunk tissue is not acceptable. 3. When possible, mower discharges shall be directed in a manner as to not discharge onto hard surfaces, streets, vehicles, tree wells, play areas or landscape beds. 4. At all times, safety devices on all equipment will be used as designed by the equipment manufacturer. 5. Trash removal from sites (litter removal from grounds is necessary prior to each mowing). 6. Tree limbs on the ground removed from site. 7. Grass shall not be mowed higher than 3 inches. 8. Provide a schedule as to which day each site will be mowed. The term of this Service Contract will begin upon award and execution of agreement with Stillwater and end on October 31, 2024. On-call services are intended to assist the Public Works Department with mowing only on an as-needed basis in locations throughout the City of Stillwater. Mowing services performed under this section will be coordinated with the contractor based on Department needs and contractor availability. On-call mowing services are to commence within 24 hours of notice to proceed, weather permitting. A. The City of Stillwater may reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part. B. A Bid may be rejected if it contains additional terms, conditions, or agreements that modify the requirements of this Invitation for Bid or attempts to limit Bidder's liability to the City of Stillwater. C. A Bid may be rejected if Bidder is currently in default to City of Stillwater or any other contract or has an outstanding indebtedness to the City of Stillwater of any kind. D. City reserves the right to waive any formalities or minor irregularities, defects, or errors in Bids. E. Bid withdrawal may only be accomplished by an Authorized Agent requesting withdrawal in person at the City Clerk's office before the City's close of business on the Bid Submission Date
