This project consists of 8200 LF of sidewalk and reconstruction of curb and gutter on Hwy. 102, W. Hudson Road, as well as concrete structures, roadway signage, and sodding. The western limit is N. 26th Street. The eastern limit is N. 4th Street. The proposed improvements will begin at the intersection of N. 26th Street. and W. Hudson Road, continuing south along W. Hudson Road to the intersection of N. 4th Street and W. Hudson Road. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid Bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 6.01 and 6.02 of the General Conditions, in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to the Owner, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within fifteen (15) days after notice of award of Contract to him. Such bid guarantee shall be made payable to the City of Rogers. The successful bidder must furnish a performance, payment, and maintenance bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred per cent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner.
