The County of Louisa invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for providing various drywall, carpentry and painting services on an "as needed" basis, if at all. The contractor shall be proficient in all of the areas mentioned above. The County is seeking a standard hourly rate and an overtime hourly rate from an established contractor with a minimum of five years of experience in commercial, residential and industrial drywall, carpentry and painting work. Services contracted during any part of a term will continue through completion of the services without regard to the end of the term and without obligation to renew the agreement. Louisa County will select the firm(s) who they determine most closely satisfies the needs of the County. There is no requirement for acceptance of the lowest cost of service offered, and specific requirements may be waived or amended at the discretion of the County. Offerors may submit any questions or requests for additional information regarding the project in written format by February 20, 2024. A formal clarification will be sent out in writing on February 22, 2024, to all known potential proposers Renewable: Two (2) successive one (1) year terms upon mutual agreement. The County of Louisa reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The County reserves the right to evaluate any sources of information available on a potential vendor.
