The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin or University) on behalf of Utilities and Energy Management (UEM), is requesting sealed proposals from qualified service providers to perform a feasibility study to comprehensively assess the potential for implementing Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) technologies on the Combustion Turbine Generator 10 (CTG-10) at The University of Texas at Austin. The study will explore the technical, economic, environmental, and operational aspects of CCUS and the associated risks and liabilities to determine its viability as a strategy for reducing carbon emissions. The findings will empower UT Austin to make an informed decision regarding CCUS adoption for CTG-10 while also aiding in developing a roadmap for CCUS commercialization.
