The specific areas being solicited are: 1. HVAC - Large Chillers (100+ tons) and related Cooling Towers: Parts, Maintenance, Repairs & related services 2. HVAC - Industrial Refrigeration: Parts, Maintenance, Repairs & related services Work will be directed on a case-by-case work request basis at any one of the facilities under the jurisdiction of Norfolk Public Schools. School Plant Facilities will issue work requests as written or verbal directions followed by written order or purchase order as appropriate. All invoices submitted for payment must reference a specific work request or purchase order by number. Question Deadline 03/01/2024 at 10:00 AM ET All questions must be submitted in writing, via email to: hmedina2@nps.k12.va.us. If the answer materially affects the RFP, the information will be incorporated into an addendum and posted on electronically. Period of Contract: The resulting contract shall be from the date of execution through March 31, 2026 with five (5) one (1) year renewal options. Intent to Award Notice March 25, 2024. The award shall be based on the evaluation of all information Norfolk Public Schools may request. Norfolk Public Schools reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals in whole or in part and to waive any informality in the RFP. Further, Norfolk Public Schools reserves the right to enter into a contract deemed to be in its best interest. Offerors are to make written proposals, which present the Offeror's qualifications and understanding of the work to be performed. Offerors are asked to address each evaluation criteria and to be specific in presenting their qualifications. Proposals should be as thorough and detailed as possible so that NPS may properly evaluate listed capabilities to provide the required services. Generally, the selection committee will consider the firm's overall suitability to provide the services for the Term Contract within the time, budget and operational constraints that may be present, and the comments and/or recommendations of the firm's previous clients, references, and others.
