This project includes the mitigation of all obstructions on airport/ county owned property and off-airport properties on which the Sponsor has access via an avigation easement (Oneida County Industrial Development Agency and Griffiss Local Development Corporation (GLDC) properties). The obstructions negatively affect existing instrument approach procedures(i.e., LNAV/VNAV, LPV, circling and TERPS 34:1 associated with Runway 15-33) or runway length for landing (i.e., Runway End Siting Surface (RESS) obstructions on Runway 33). This project includes the removal of approximately 54 acres of tree canopy areas on airport property and 2 acres of tree canopy areas off airport property. Bids must be submitted upon the proposal form(s) furnished, and the entire proposal booklet must be submitted. A deposit in the amount of5% of the bid will be required. This deposit shall consist of a bid bond or certified check payable to the COUNTY OF ONEIDA. Failure to submit a bid bond or certified check with bid will result in automatic disqualification ofbid. Failure to submit a bid upon the proposal form(s) in the proposal book furnished by the Oneida County Department of Aviation will result in automatic disqualification of bid.
