Project Information. Location and Description. The Project is located at 300 Olympia Drive, Pittsburg, CA 94565-5700, and is described as follows: The project consists of the addition of five new filters and conversion of the gaseous chlorine system to a liquid hypochlorite system. The project also has five alternate additive bid items consisting of the following 1) equipment and media for the sixth filter, and 2) new North Filter Effluent Clearwell and demolition of the existing North Filter Effluent Clearwell. Time for Final Completion. The Project must be fully completed within 1300 calendar days from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. City anticipates that the Work will begin on or about May 13, 2024, but the anticipated start date is provided solely for convenience and is neither certain nor binding.
