**As of March 22 , 2024 project was awarded to Digital Visions Security Technologies with an amount $ 141,144.35. ** The Newport Police Department is soliciting sealed bids for a turn 01-key physical security surveillance system of up to seven outdoor rated cameras along Riverboat Row, Newport on the Levee, and Southshore Properties. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. The City of Newport reserves the right to reject all bids and waive all formalities in the award of the bid. The bids should include a description of the equipment proposed, including specifications, installation, and maintenance requirements. The completion goal is September2024, with a guaranteed completion no later than March 31,2026. The City of Newport Police Department retains the right to terminate any agreement if the vendor's ability to fulfill the project requirements is misrepresented or falsified.
